Plant care & maintenance

Office plant maintenance in Atlanta

Scheduled professional care that keeps a commercial installation looking like install day — including plants we didn't sell you.

Most office plants don't die in a week. They decline slowly — a little more brown each month, a pest nobody identified, a corner nobody waters — until the installation that was meant to make the space feel finished starts making it look neglected instead.

A maintenance program is what stops that. We come on a schedule, work the whole inventory, catch problems while they're small, and replace anything that stops thriving. Nobody at your company has to remember to water anything, and no client walks into a lobby of dead plants.

Care-only programs are available whether we installed the plants or not — including taking over an installation that's currently struggling.

Visit frequency

Weekly
Heavily planted, high-traffic, or bright spaces — lobbies, atriums, restaurants, amenity floors.
Bi-weekly
The most common commercial cadence — planted floors, reception and conference areas, mixed light.
Monthly
Smaller, lower-light inventories — offices with a handful of tolerant species and no direct sun.

Weekly to monthly, from $500/month depending on size and scope.

What's included

What a maintenance visit actually covers

Every visit works the whole inventory — not just the plants by the front door.

Watering to the plant, not the calendar

Every plant is checked individually. A plant two feet from a south window drinks very differently than one in an interior conference room, and the schedule reflects that.

Pruning, shaping and leaf care

Tired, leggy, dusty plants read as neglect. We prune for shape, remove dead material, and clean leaves so the foliage actually reflects light.

Feeding and soil management

Fertilizing on the right cycle for each species group, plus soil checks, drainage problems, and top-dressing when a pot has been depleted.

Pest monitoring and treatment

The most common reason a healthy-looking installation collapses is an infestation found late. Visits include scouting and treatment before it spreads.

Replacement of declining plants

If a plant doesn't thrive under our care, we swap it. You shouldn't have to argue about whether a dying plant is someone's responsibility.

Rotating and repositioning

Plants grow toward light and lean over time. We rotate and reposition as the light changes through the year so the arrangement stays balanced.

Care-only programs

You don't have to buy plants to get plant care

Plenty of clients come to us with an installation that's already there.

  • Taking over an existing inventory — we assess what's healthy, what's recoverable and what should be replaced, then quote care for the rest.
  • Plants from another vendor — an installed setup you like but that nobody is maintaining.
  • A struggling installation — a lobby that went downhill, a floor nobody watered for a month, or a pest problem that was never properly treated.
  • Multi-tenant and property-managed buildings — shared-area plantings maintained under building rules, with insurance and access handled.

Questions

Office plant maintenance questions

Yes, and it's one of the most common ways a program starts. We walk the space, assess the plants, the light, and how they've been watered, then quote a care-only program. You keep the plants you have; we bring them back to health and keep them there.

Weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly, depending on plant count, species, light levels, season, and how much foot traffic the space gets. A heavily planted lobby with bright windows needs more attention than a dozen low-light plants on one floor. We set the frequency at the walkthrough and adjust it as the space changes.

Watering to each plant's actual need (not a calendar), pruning and shaping, leaf cleaning and polishing, fertilizing on schedule, pest inspection and treatment, deadheading and debris removal, rotating plants so they grow evenly toward the light, and replacing any plant that declines under our care.

In our programs, declining or dead plants are replaced at no additional charge. A plant that quietly gets worse for months before anyone notices is the failure mode a maintenance program exists to prevent — replacement is part of the deal, not a surprise invoice.

Yes. Certificates of insurance, vendor onboarding portals, service elevator scheduling, loading dock windows, badge requirements and after-hours access are all normal parts of the job for us. We also keep the building's access rules on file so visits don't stall at the front desk.

Yes. One-time services include reviving a neglected installation, prepping a space for a client event or a building tour, holiday and seasonal installs, and executing an existing plant inventory before a move. These are quoted per project.
